SaaS Onboarding Engineer

Summary

RunLoyal, a rapidly growing vertical SaaS company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented onboarding specialist to join our SaaS product-based company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new customers by assisting with data integration, ETL/ELT operations, and technical configurations. The role requires a strong background in SQL, data transformation, and scripting, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities :

  • ead customer onboarding sessions, ensuring smooth product adoption and integration.
  • Assist customers in migrating data through ETL/ELT pipelines while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform SQL queries and database operations to validate, transform, and troubleshoot customer data.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills for data manipulation, validation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Support, to enhance onboarding experiences.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on data-related challenges during onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for onboarding processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Work effectively to overlap with S. time zones to support global customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in SaaS onboarding, data operations, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes and data transformation methodologies.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and automation.
  • Scripting expertise (preferably in Python, Shell, or other relevant languages) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in SaaS product-based companies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and automation tools.
  • Experience in customer success, technical support, or product implementation roles.
